A community app for nautical camping.
A map for those who sail
Nautical camping enthusiasts had no dedicated tools. Google Maps, forums and word of mouth: nothing built around the real needs of those navigating small boats and looking for a place to stop for the night.
Rodi opens on a map. From there you can explore spots added by the community — bivouac sites, mooring points, fuel stops and haul-out areas — filter them by type and copy coordinates directly to your chartplotter. When you find a new spot, you add it with a photo and some information. The spot appears immediately on the map, visible to the whole community.
The app works offline too: spots added without a connection are saved in a queue and synced automatically as soon as the network is available. At sea, connectivity isn't always guaranteed — Rodi is built for that.

Everything under control
We followed the project from the first line of code to the release on the App Store and Google Play. Interface, backend, frontend and database were all designed and developed entirely by us, building a unique and coherent system capable of supporting an active community from day one.
Alongside the app, we built a web administration panel where Gaia can moderate user-submitted content, manage accounts and monitor the platform's growth in real time. Reported spots can be removed or verified, problematic accounts suspended or deleted, and high-quality content promoted as community-verified spots.
Verified nautical tours have a dedicated presence on the map, visually distinct from user spots, with a direct booking link. A platform that Gaia can manage independently, without technical intervention for day-to-day operations.
